We
love games! To share our love of the written word and our love of games,
we've added a few games to our site. We have crossword puzzles,
find-a-word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles (all of them writing or romance related, of
course), and a monthly DandyLine contest. See rules below. The DandyLine Contest is a first line contest. To enter, send your best first line to smrwdandy@gmail.com on the 1st day of the month. The first 15 lines received will be placed in a poll and visitors to our website will vote. We'll take the top vote-getters from each month and have a quarterly semi-final. The top five from the semi-finals will compete in December for the grand prize. The contest is open to everyone. Only one line per person per month, and the line should be from an unpublished work. Monthly winners will receive a graphic for their website or MySpace page. Quarterly winners will receive a free download of a member's book (or equivalent), and the grand prize winner will receive a free entry into the Laurie or Published Laurie.
